Safety Equipment for securing your marquee and pop-up gazebo

A thing you need to consider when using a marquee or pop-up gazebo is the ratio between weight and surface. A tent of any kind is a bit like a sail on a boat - lightweight, strong and with a large surface. It means that the wind can take hold of the cover of your tent and move it if possible. Even a large marquee, which seems stable and heavy when you look at it and handle it will lift or turn over if the wind is strong enough and if the wind can grab hold of the cover. We always recommend that you use some of our safety equipment no matter which kind of tent you use and for which purpose you use it.

The safety packs are also perfect for our various storage tents and portable garage tents. A marquee is often the obvious solution when you need extra room for celebrating something. Our marquees are made for private parties as well as professional events. A large and elegant marquee will shelter you from the rain, the sun and even cold weather if you place a heater or two inside the marquee. Again, we have to stress that safety plays an important part when it comes to marquees. With our safety equipment, you can secure your marquee with storm straps and ground pegs. The same goes for a storage tent and even for our FleXtents® pop-up gazebos, which also can be secured by storm straps and ground pegs. For the latter, our weight discs and sandbags may sometimes be a more flexible solution. Safety packs to secure your marquee in bad weather

Please note that you are not supposed to raise a marquee or any other lightweight structure during a storm or even less. Even when the weather looks fine, you should always make the effort of securing your marquee and more with a safety pack containing storm straps and ground pegs. In general, by using our high-quality safety equipment, you do not have to worry about the weather unless there is a storm coming. To avoid unnecessary accidents, please make it a rule to secure your marquee, pop-up gazebo and storage tent every time you put it up. To be on the safe side, use storm straps and ground pegs so nobody gets hurt. Furthermore, in case you do not secure your marquee and there is an accident, your insurance company may not cover!
