The Sprout S16 is a modern cutting-edge greenhouse or propagator with many intelligent features controlled with an app. The compact greenhouse will fit almost anywhere. Put it on the patio or the balcony. The greenhouse comes with brackets for securing it to a wall or similar. The three heavy-duty shelves have room for 16-20 standard seed trays (not included). You can also place other containers and pots on the mesh shelves.

The intelligent mini greenhouse has several innovative features, such as an irrigation system for self-watering, an automatic ventilation opener, heater cables in the mesh shelves, and 12 built-in LED grow lights. However, apart from the automated opener, operated by melting wax and springs, the features require electricity. That is why you need an outdoor 240v mains power outlet within 5m of the greenhouse. Please note that this efficient mini greenhouse uses less than half the power consumption of an average fridge.

Manage and monitor your Harvst mini greenhouse with a web App

This modern mini greenhouse has a series of features managed by a web app, meaning you do not need to download anything from an app store. The Harvst control system can connect to your home WiFi and record data in your Harvst account, which you can access from anywhere. You can update settings in the app from anywhere with an internet connection, and your greenhouse will update within half an hour. You can also set your greenhouse to send email alerts when the temperature is too low or too high.

Irrigation system

Your Harvst mini greenhouse can take care of the watering while you are away, and you can set a regular watering regime which helps many plants grow better. You get a submersible water pump and a range of drippers and sprayers, so all you need to add is a water tank or connect the system to a nearby water butt.

Automatic ventilation

The weather can often change during the day, especially in the spring and autumn, when temperatures can vary hugely from day to day. This mini greenhouse will keep firmly shut on cool days, keeping valuable warmth inside. When hot, the lid automatically opens to vent heat and prevent your plants from overheating. You do not need electricity – just melting wax and springs. You can adjust the temperature at which the greenhouse opens from around 18°C to 30°C.

Extend your season with greenhouse heating

The greenhouse is heated with low-voltage, waterproof heater cables woven through the mesh shelves to provide a warm layer underneath your growing containers, keeping the soil at the right temperature for germination and growing. Choose the temperature using the Harvst app. With the heater on, the mini greenhouse can maintain a soil temperature of at least 10°C above ambient, not counting the wind chill factor.

LED grow lights

The greenhouse comes with waterproof LED grow lights fitted under the shelves. Grow all through the winter or use it anytime to boost the light in a north-facing garden. The lights are waterproof and can withstand the wet conditions in the greenhouse. In addition, they give off a fair bit of warmth, further helping the growing conditions in the greenhouse during winter. You can control the light using the app.
