ESG at Dancover – Responsibility in Practice

At Dancover, we believe that responsibility and business go hand in hand. Our work with ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) is rooted in the desire to make a real difference – for our customers, employees, and the world we are part of.

Since 2022, we have been part of the UN Global Compact – the world's largest voluntary initiative for corporate social responsibility. This means that we support and operate based on the UN's 10 principles concerning human rights, labour rights, environment, and anti-corruption. We are also committed to reporting annually on our initiatives and progress. These principles are an integral part of our approach to sustainability and responsible management.

At Dancover, we are committed to supporting the UN's Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) as part of our responsibility towards future generations. In recent years, we have prioritised our efforts around the following:

Gender Equality

Decent Work & Economic Growth

Responsible Consumption and Production

Life on Land

You can read more about the specific initiatives related to the various SDGs in our reports – find links further down the page.

In these reports, you can also read about our key initiatives, goals, and results within ESG, including:

  • How we work to reduce our CO₂ footprint in Scope 1, 2, and 3.
  • Our ambition to be 'near zero' CO₂-neutral by 2027 in Scope 1 & 2.
  • That we have planted more than 200,000 trees.
  • R&D on new types of materials with a lower footprint.
  • Our social efforts – from employee well-being to education and our engagement in various social initiatives.

We report annually on our progress and continuously work to improve our efforts – both through specific initiatives and by following the latest standards for ESG reporting, including incorporating VSME – the voluntary standard for sustainability reporting for small and medium-sized enterprises – in our annual ESG report.
