The rough wooden shelter will be perfect for many hours outside in the garden or somewhere else you would like to experience nature up close. In the garden you can enjoy the evening and night in front of a bonfire and get away from the hustle and bustle of the everyday treadmill. Kids will love this shelter as they can play during the day and spend the night if they have the courage as it can get really dark sometimes. Decorate the shelter with some cosy fairy lights or enjoy the night looking at stars in complete darkness. 

You receive the shelter as a fairly easy DIY-project as some of the parts are already assembled or cut. You do need to work a little but it will be so much worth the time you spend on building this shelter for the entire family. We recommend that you place the legs of shelter on flagstones or pole shoes to avoid the wood getting in direct contact with the soil. Another option is to build a patio and place the shelter on it – then you avoid mud outside the shelter. Roofing felt is included. Please make sure that there is a surplus of 5 cm folding around each edge on all sides of the shelter roof. 

The shelter is made of Danish high-quality larch wood, which has a natural protection so you do not have to use wood protection. However, the wood will turn grey is you do not treat it. Use some transparent wood protection or oil and keep the hue of the wood beautiful for much longer. On the other hand, many prefer the beautiful grey colour of the weathered larch wood so it is up to you. As a minimum you should use an eco-friendly fungicide to avoid rot and fungal infestation.
